Charles,

The person in possession of the bike did in fact find in cheap somewhere. He called me looking for information. Him and a partner just find stuff and then sell it on eBay. They know nothing about bikes; but apparently they do their research before offering items up for sale.

I'm kinda curious to know exactly how Mr. "I don't know much about road bikes" came into possession of something like that, ya know? Did he get it at a garage sale for 50 bucks? We'll probably never know, but it sure would be nice to know, wouldn't it?

I'm not suggesting anything nefarious...but I am always curious how someone who knows nothing about bikes like this, comes to be selling one.
