I really think that the beautiful Cinelli that Fred pointed-out on eBay is an early 70's model. The 3 holes in the headlugs strongly indicate no earlier than '69 or '70, and the lack of fender eyelets points to 70's. For what it's worth, the rear der is "PAT. 72" and the "C" in brackets on the lower headset cup indicate early 70's. The fact that the headbadge is brass rather than aluminum points to probably no later than '72. The seatpost binder bolt strongly indicates early 70's.

Great looking bike!

I've just seen my holy grail. Too bad it's beyond my reach. 1968 Cinelli SC in silver. Ebay item # 110452169628. $14,000 with free shipping.?Not my size, but I'd ride it anyway. Maybe I'll hit the lottery this weekend! Does it belong to a list member?
