I have found that with the new thinner Woolistics jerseys, it is easy to punch a hole in a rear pocket when carrying a keyring with one's house keys. I don't remember this problem with the old thicker wool jerseys. Anyone else have this problem?
Of course, when riding a touring bike with bags, a front bag pocket is a good place for keys, but what to do when riding a racing bike without bags? I've found that an empty Brooks Proofide tin is just the right size to hold my keyring and protect the jersey. I use the older copper colored tin marked as containing 56 grammes. Can't think of a more classic key holder.

\r?\n> In addition to e-Bay (where I have bought several very nice
\r?\n> wool team jerseys for my wife, who is much more of the
\r?\n> 70's size than I am at 6'5/230) Ibex sells very good jerseys
\r?\n> as well as wool shorts and knickers as well as tights .Small
\r?\n> logos make them classy and subdued. Their sales are great...

\r?\n> Rivendell also has a good wool selection. I have their l/s
\r?\n> jerseys and wool "wife beater" undershirts which are both
\r?\n> very nice. THe jerseys are thin, but suprisingly warm
\r?\n> (worsted wool.)
\r?\n> I can still wear my Broncali kangaroo leather shoes, though
\r?\n> they are as difficult to walk in as ever.
