I am lucky as I have an extremely experienced Shop
Owner/Mechanic in Tony Tom at Bicycle Odyssey in Sausalito. He can
handle any issue I cannot. Most Shops have mechanics who even if they
have been there for 10 years have little or no experience with our ''On
Topic'' Stuff.. Spare parts,we know to be mostly nonexistant.
All the big chain stores are the last place you want to
take your bike unless its new and Off Topic.
Wheres Oscar when you need him........FB ''mechanic'' tried to
impress me as to how good they were, Not even born when most of my
''new'' bikes were built.
