Subject: [CR] Rik Van Looy & plum vainqueur

Hello everybody,

to continue the Rik van Looy subject, Friday i bought a plum vainqueur bicycle in Asperen (near Gent, Belgium), this 14 year old girl told me that het grandfather bought it from Rik van Looy. She was just enthiousastic and told me the story that it belonged to Rik van Looy, her grandfather, father and now me! Could this be possible?

The size of the bike is 53 cm, i don't know for sure if it has the right decals, maybe it's not a plum vainqueur, i don't know, and the girl didn't know it to. She even didn't know if he was riding races with it or that it was a training bike.

well maybe there are some people who recognise it from pictures!
