Thanks for all your replies again from a few weeks ago. I have now received the frame back from Argos. A number of you requested some additional pics to help identify the frame so I have taken some more photos of the frame. I ran out of daylight so I had to use the flash which has changed the colour of the frame but you can make out the detailing I hope.
Hilary Stone saw this frame in a local shop and he thinks it might be a Stuart Purves although looking at classic lightweights the frame numbers don't seem to match up. I'd love to get some decals on the frame but I might have to wait till someone can give me a positive identification.

I am still waiting for the cranks to be chromed. Sadly the GB stem was damaged when it was removed but I now have a Milremo stem to replace it.
