Is there a source for dating Campagnolo Record rear derailleurs? The one I have has some stamps in the inner plates...and some other possible identifiers.
I am trying to date the Torpado that it came attached to...so if someone knows about those, that would be a help too. The bike in question was rescued from certain oblivion at the swap meet over the weekend. It has suffered a horrible respray, but the brass headbadge is still there, as are the Campagnolo dropouts. The frame appears true and in great shape, minus the cosmetic catastrophe!
