On Austin Texas is this,''1971 Schwinn Paramount

This bike was Owned and raced by Wayne Stetina in the 1972 Olympic Time Trials in New York with John Howard, (who has his same bike too)

This bike started out Yellow and after its racing it was sent back to Schwinn to be painted orange

The bike is as raced with some of the Original Campagnolo parts and some upgraded for TT racing.

(Bikes has all the parts listed below, pics was just before completion has all new cables and is ready for tires and to ride...

Shifts flawless, Bike is mechanically perfect as when Wayne rode it.)

This bikes has been referbished and is in perfect mechanical shape all bearings ultrasonically cleaned and repacked with Phil Wood Grease and all new cables.

Chrome in Esc,. Condition there is some chips and on the down tube there was once a water bottle mounted and some cable slap (seen in pics), Frame Polished then Sprayed inside with Bioshield T-9

This bike has history and is really one fine ride.

I have talked to both Wayne Stetina and John Howard about this bike. John may restore his too.

His was painted green.
