Hello,
Short introduction, i'm new here..
I'm Hans, live in Copenhagen/Denmark, have been a bikegeek for the past 3-4 years since I started riding to loose some weight.
This year most of my riding has been on a 90's Fondreist equipped with 9-speed Campagnolo Athena, and my everyday pendling trackbike.
Atm I have just started up as a newbie at the velodrome here in Copenhagen (called Ballerup Super Arena).
Anyway, to my questions: I found this Rossin-frame below a pile of old bikes that had been put away in a basement for 10+ years and was going to be thrown out.. I however thought that this one bike was a keeper, and took it under my wings :)

I'm looking into finding some more facts about the frame. Heres what I know.
The danish framenumber (something the law requires stamped in all bikes) says it's imported by "Ritter Import" in 1988. It's Columbus Matrix (at least thats what the sticker says, and I have heard that this was first introduced in 1989.. So I guess it could be a 1989 model imported in late 1988?
Online I have found the Rossin 88-catalogue, and the only bike in that catalogue that has crimped tubing like this is the Ghibli.
Anyone seen this frame before?
It was equipped with a shitty Shimano 300EX groupset.. I'm getting rid of that and have started fitting a 600 Ultegra-gruppo on it.. Just need the cranks and the brakes to complete the set, and they turn up quite often in Denmark so I guess it shouldnt take to long before it's a fully build up 8-speed bike.
Also, I have just gotten a Mavic Challenger at a really low price.. Would like to use it as a track wheel and I see that they used to come with a track kit.. Anyone know how that kit worked?
