Subject: [CR] Help: 60's Bianchi Record

"Potential to look at a late 50's/early 60's Bianchi Record. Looks to have the integrated headset, but steel cottered cranks, wing-nut wheels, not sure what else.

Can anyone advise where in the line-up the Bianchi Record fit?

A really clean one just sold for an amazing price on ebay a few weeks ago:

To me it looks pretty identical to a Gran Sport with stamped drop-outs and a similar group with steel rims, etc. A nice entry level bike with some upscale "looks". I think the ebay bike is more like a later 60's model though. Maybe it replaced the Gran Sport in the mid to late 60's?

My two cents, Jon Williams
