Do you have any preference of what they should look like?
I seem to recall some early-60's bikes came with all-black 27" tires, if that helps. I fitted my '62 Continental accordingly with that 1-1/8" size. Cheng Shin makes an inexpensive C732 that looks like an all-black gumwall but with very thin sidewall rubber and a mildly peaked tread profile, relatively supple and light and measuring 26mm inflated. These were formely tan-sided. I think these are labeled Super HP.
A Cheng Shin tan Gumwall is over 100g heavier, but model C637 Super HP in 1-1/4" size still measures a modest 28mm inflated, is the best of it's type imo and looks proper with it's subtle diamond/rib tread pattern. Kendas and other Chinese gumwalls look a LOT more cheap and are a little wider and with more pronounced ribs. Gumwalls are good for vintage bikes in that the rubber protects the sidewall fabric for years longer than does the paper-thin rubber on skinwalls. Stored (collected) bikes might otherwise require more frequent tire replacement.

> Hello all,
\r?\n>
\r?\n> Does anyone know where I might be able to track down some NOS 27x1 1/8
\r?\n> tyres
\r?\n> from the 50's or some authentic looking tyres from the era made by a
\r?\n> modern
\r?\n> manufacturer?
\r?\n>
\r?\n> Thank in advance for any help you can offer me.
