I just wanted to reiterate the opening sentence to my recent diatribe on what constitutes a "proper" restoration:
"If restoration is required, my own preference is to match the factory finish, chrome accents, and decals as closely as possible"
The key words are "my own preference". Given the variety of individual tastes and preferences on what constitutes a "proper" restoration, I can understand Mr. Bayliss' frustration. To each his own!
