At the Tucson swap last weekend I bought 2 sets of Hi-E wheels. One set had the Hi-E rims and had the rear hub that has holes clustered for 3 spokes. The end caps on the rear appear to be stainless and do not have the knurling of the later ones. Anyone have one of these for the non-drive side of the rear?
Also, the other set had a front hub with convex flanges with inset holes. Is this a Hi-E?
Also bought a 1950's Taurus (Italian) bike with Campy 3 piece hubs, Gran Sport derailleurs, Magistroni crank (52-40 chainrings) and BB, Universal 51's, etc. Anyone know this brand? I need decals. They seem to have primarily made city bikes, The shifters have knurled knobs. I remember Valentinos that had these, but did and of the Gran Sports?
Thanks.
