The first hint that something isn't right about this bike are the "Tri-Wing" tamper resistant screws holding the Raleigh head badge on. Raleigh used brass or later on, aluminum rivets to mount the head badge (possibly standard brass screws too).

Next, Reynolds didn't start using adhesive backed decals with "Reynolds Tube Co. Ltd." in the gold box until 1974. The "TI Reynolds Ltd." versions didn't come into use until later.

This bike could have come from Raleigh as a rare "limited edition" and someone later replaced the original Reynolds decals with the newer style but proof of provenance lies with the seller.

Raleigh did so many undocumented things especially during the Bike Boom era that I'm not going to comment on any of the other abnormalities (such as the quality of the paint job).

Finally, there's no picture of the Campy brake QRs -flat or domed?
