I have found that vintage automobiling and cycling can mesh rather well. Take for example my vintage car which is a 1969 Alfa Romeo Berlina. First off, this ride has a very reasonable entry fee. The Berlina does not comand the high dollars of other period Alfas, yet provides so much vintage/exotic high performance fun- plus you can quite easily throw a bike in back (providing its a 60s Italian bike : ) wife and kids too! So before anyone cries 'OFF TOPIC', let me say that these cars were (along with Giulia Super and TI) the car of choice for virtually all the Italian teams back in the 60s and 70s. Why not have as much fun driving to the ride as you do participating in the ride? It sure beats the automotive sterility of our Honda Oydessy.
