first off, sorry everyone that i didn't sign off a post correctly. i'm new and promise to do better.
i tried the hairdryer and boiling water. netiher worked and i'm also a bit scared of heat, since the frame is bonded, glued and screwed. the freeze-off will be my next attempt.
