When I bought my Marinoni on eBay, I thought it was the Squadra frame, lugged Columbus. I bought it because the price was low and the Cronometro swap is coming up. The elves were good to me, though, and I want to offer this gem to the list before I take it to the swap.
What I got was a 1997 Leggero, the last of Marinoni's lugged Leggero models, with traditional size, Columbus NivaChrome extra leggero tube set. It comes with a chromed unicrown fork, also extra leggero NivaChrome. My '98 Leggero was TIG welded oversize tubing, fast, but stiffer than I like. Red with yellow and black graphics, chromed chainstay, chrome face on the front derailleur braze on, chrome faces on the rear dropouts. Rear spacing is 128 mm slack, which means it will work fine at either 126 mm or 130 mm. Condition is an honest 8 of 10, with no dents or monstrous scratches, but some minor dings, and some paint polished down to the chrome on the back of the seat tube where previous owner tried to use a big tire. This bike wants 23 mm tires, 25 mm maximum. Would make a honey of a Men of Steel race bike!
Size is 57 cm seat tube and top tube, center to center.
Will email pics to an interested buyer. Will include a well-used Stronglight Delta headset (because it is not worth my time to pull out).
Price is $400 shipped to CONUS.
Regards and thanks to the elves!
