I agree with George. In addition to tossing Mafacs, I'll get new clincher wheels and might as well go with Shimano Indexing while I'm at it...why fiddle with friction? And that pain-in-the-butt Brooks Pro, anatomic is the way to go (along with one-bolt seatpost)! Clipless pedals and a Technomic stem to ease my acheing feet and back should nearly complete the transformation of my formerly original '65 Cinelli. Hmmm, anybody interested in buying some vintage parts for cheap (please contact off-list)?
