Unfortunately these days an even bigger problem is finding replacement
bearings. Mavic specified a proprietary sealed bearing which is no longer
available. I looked into having some manufactured but the minimum number was
3,000!!!
As noted, they are very nice units (limited spindle lengths) and require 3mm of cutting/chamfering from the bottom bracket.
