I recently obtained a vintage Italian TURONI road bike from eBay.it. It has 5-color ribbon on the seat tube. Campagnolo equipped. Pantographed stem. I found another one for sale. http://www.subito.it/vintage-bici-corsa-turconi-special-livorno-8677129.htm

I was told that wearing the 5-color ribbon indicated that TURCONI had won the World Champion. Can anyone tell me more about the history of TURCONI?
