As Norris points out, this is a bog standard bike with Alex Singer paint.
Alex Singer never made this frame, it would be a bike belonging to a good c ustomer's wife or daughter, that needed a repaint at the same time as a gen uine Singer, and AS did the job.
He had no conception that years later someone might consider this an exampl e of his workmanship... It so obviously isn't.. The giveaway would be that this bike is without serial number.
But this is of course totally irrelevant as to the merits of a Singer bicyc le....
I wouldn't have touched it with a barge pole, whoever bid 200 euros in my o pinion was misinformed and maybe hoping to sell it for a profit after seein g the price of AS on eBay. Looks like he might get his fingers burnt.
