Beautiful bike Kevin. Interesting that the fork crown says F. Masi, and the frame has Alberto's decals. Why?

I own a 1986 Masi Prestige, and find the ride very comparable to my Gran Cr its.? Mine is not built with steep angles, high BB, nor a "straight" fork , thus ride is not "twitchy" as experienced by some of the other Prestige o wners who have posted their comments.
Could it be that Alberto built some of the Prestige models to "Crit-style" geometry and others to road style???? Suspect that could be the case, so can't judge all Prestiges in the same ride-quality category in my opinion.
