Subject: [CR] FS: Belgian imitation Colnago frame and fork, 55 c-t

Good day all,

I am offering to the list this anonymous (at least I couldn' t find out who made it), early to mid 80s, Belgian frame and fork, obviously a Colnago imitation. It has been repainted in what the former owner called 'Brussels metro grey'. He is an employee of the Brussels metro (subway) ... The frame is in excellent condition, and has not been ridden since it was repainted. And the chrome is almost spotless. You may not like the colour, but it would make into an excellent project for that classic racing bike that you could actually race, and have exactly the colour scheme you want. I think the craftmanship of whoever built the frame is very good. I also like the various details, the lugs, seatstaycaps and the number tag. The aero fork crown looks pretty too.

Some info on geometry and such:

- seattube: 55 c-t (or maybe 54 c-c) - toptube 55 c-c - wheelbase 980 mm - chainstay 410 mm - seatpost diameter 27.2 mm - bottom bracket is English threaded

Tubing is Columbus (there's a Columbus stamp in the steerer tube), probably SL (no rifling in seattube). I weighed frame and fork to give a better indication. Frame: 1927 grams, fork: 644 grams. This is not a heavyweight!

Geometry looks relatively agressive, I think it will be a responsive and agile ride.

I am asking 150 usd for frame + fork. Shipping (Priority, insured, trackable, well-packed!): 95 usd. Payment only through Paypal please: faro@cistron.nl.

Thanks for looking!
