all my bikes are steel but i do have a most likely on topic frame and fork that i put the new stuff on...got the levers with the clickey stuff in them and large cassette on the rear wheel...

my other two bikes are vintage all the way except for the tires. my next build will probably be lugged steel with newer components.

\r?\n> All the talk about CF, Alum, and TI bikes, being as good,

\r?\n> better, or old

\r?\n> fashioned or who ever else, got me thinking( look-out).

\r?\n> I'm 62 yrs and still ride, always do every bit of my

\r?\n> I love to get my hands greasy as much or more then riding.

\r?\n> So here's the catch! I have never swung a leg over

\r?\n> anything but standard

\r?\n> size real steel. When I see a CF bike it's like I

\r?\n> glanced at a 1997

\r?\n> Nissian! No reaction what so ever. When I see lugs it's

\r?\n> like seeing a 32

\r?\n> Ford coupe with a chromed out 350.

\r?\n> Is there anyone else who has been totally faithful to

\r?\n> steel?
