Does anyone know if I can put a Campy Veloce compact crankset onto a Nuovo Record bottom bracket? The Veloce wants a symetrical 111mm spindle lenght a nd the N.R. is assymetrical 114.5mm. But are the square tapers compatible? It seems to snug onto the spindle fine and I tightened the Veloce crank arm s down but am afraid to put any load onto them until I know if I am doing s omething wrong (other than the compact onto a classic N.R. BB or a compact onto a Masi for that matter...)
