Wearing a prodotti Campagnolo T-shirt to the Museo Ducati in Bologna also got me into a nice conversation with the museum curator at the factory's bar about vintage Italian bicycles. The first Ducatis were built on what looks in retrospect almost like a cross between classic '50s Italian steel and modern steel ATB frames:
