I didn't see any reference to Persons in this recent eBay auction. I did post last year about buying several Persons saddles. They were, at least last year, being made in India to the specs of Charlie Persons, a direct decendant of the founder and the current owner of the Persons company. He had a pretty good clone of a Brooks B-17 Champion Special and of a steel rail Brooks Swift, both clones complete with copper plated rails and large copper rivets. The consistency of the color and of the placement of rivets was perhaps a bit worse than the current Brooks, but the quality seemed pretty good considering the price was about half that of a Brooks. Don't know about the durability yet. I do have a Persons B-17 clone on my Schwinn Sports Tourer. There are currently several clones of the Brooks Swallow being made, including the Velo Orange one and another being sold on eBay branded "Cardiff". Apparently Asian made, maybe all of them by the same manufacturer.
