Assuming you don't have a compressor and spray gun and all of the stuff you need for proper spraying, and that whatever is in the can is something you really want, and that the "pour it out and use a brush" isn't acceptable, you might try a Preval spray gun.
It's essentially a siphon-feed spray gun fired by a can of air. If you have the viscosity right, you'll get the same results as a spray can -- don't expect anything better.
Worth a look, if you're needing this functionality bad enough. I can get 'em off the shelf at TAP Plastic and I've seen the stuff at a couple of better hobby shops, too. Do a web search and have a look. Some auto paint places will also make you a new spray can for a small price.

You may be able to get a few more squirts out of the can after soaking it in hot water. Otherwise, transferring it to a jar for brushing, or a discarded pump spray bottle, would be the only solution.
