It would be nice to hear from those on the list knowledgeable about the uses of Roval wheelsets by professional riders in our timeline. I am curious whether they were largely confined to time trial and/or climbing stages or if they served as all around race wheels. Any team sponsorship / affiliations would also be interesting.
There must be a number of CR members that have them as "trick" wheels on go-fast bikes and it would be good to hear of their experiences with them. I have two Roval wheelsets in service and they certainly feel strong and light. And now, the kicker: Was anyone foolish enough to try them for cyclocross or will I be a trailblazer (or soil auger)?
