Subject: [CR] Track bike set up

I recently acquired a very nice Jack Taylor track frame which I have now finished setting up with new forks and 170mm cranks. The seat tube is 21 ½ “. I took it for a ride this morning and found my shoe (using cleats) catches on the front wheel when I turn a sharp corner. Even if I changed to smaller 160mm cranks it wouldn’t be enough to clear the wheel. I have never before ridden a track bike and was wondering if this is normal. Any comments?
