Subject: [CR] Actually Riding

Dear Listmembers, I spend so much time looking for the perfect parts for my restorations, I sometimes forget the whole point of this which is actually riding these wonderful old bikes. I live in the heart of Los Angeles wher e riding can take on "Death Race" attributes so I don't often get the oppor tunity to just enjoy the ride. I finally got my 60's Rene Herse dialed in the way I like it and drove out to a long bike path in the San Fernando Val ley where I actually got to ride in relative safety for hours. And it was wonderful and I immediately remembered how much I just LOVE bicycles. Tom Hansen, Los Angeles, California, USA.
