Hi Robert,

When it comes to proper frame size, your inseam is more important than your height. I'm roughly your height and my inseam is 32". For a road bike, I'm okay with 56 to 58 cm. (Center to top.) I can ride a 59 but the short seat post looks weird. On track bikes I ride 54 to 56 because the bottom bracket is higher. Measure your inseam from your (ahem) crotch to the ground with your bike shoes on. And here's a tip: my actual inseam measurement (32") is the same as it says on my Levis label.
