My father bought it second hand in the 1970s, at the time the old man that
sold it to him said it was the same model that won the Tour De France
1915??? (I'm not sure I remember the date it may be the 1930s). My Dad never
rode it, I rode it a bit as a teenager.. that is when the saddle and the
handle bars were put on, it did have the original ones when we got it.
Anyway my parents are moving soon and I'm thinking about rescuing it, maybe
doing it up and using it, before my mother chucks it out or gives it away.
It would be nice to do it up properly but I guess I need to know what the
original parts would have been.
