Subject: [CR] Correction Vittoria Italian Tricolor Tubulars NOW Clincers

An observant reader has pointed out that these are clinchers . I didn't realize that Vittoria's "open tubular" language (which is printed on the box in the photo) referred to clinchers. These appear to be new-old-stock that they are trying to sell rather than a new run of tires. An old limited edition! Perfect.

BTW, I ride 19mm green stripe Michelin tires on my Malagnini and they ride great.

I put up a photo of a special edition Vittoria tubular tire that might look good with some KOF Italian bikes: http://italiancyclingjournal.blogspot.com/2009/03/vittoria-italian-tricolor-tubular-tires.html

The announcment from Vittoria also said, "boasts a very cool vintage style." I think this style tire has been done in the past????
