Robert B has done a great job of posting information both on wooljersey and here on CR (does that count as an ''Attaboy'',Dale?) The Sprit (not Spirit) front derailleur is a reverse pull with the spring action raising the chain to the large front gear. Excellent for wide triples , I have a 50/40/28 it works very well on. Also1st generation Superbe and Cyclone do look alike but my attempt to swap a Cyclone GT cage to a Superbe to create a Superbe GT failed as the cages were attached by different hardware (why would they do that?)
