Hi All,
I'm trying to find out what seems to be the best way to locally transport a bike, as in a car carrier or similar device. What type seems to cause the least amount of paint rub, scratches, etc, and what else can be done to minimize other problems like stone chips, bugs, etc, while the bike is being transported? My old carrier was a Yakima roof rack type, from about 15 years ago, but it doesn't fit my current car.
Any thoughts?
