STURMEY ARCHER MASTER CATALOGUE 1956 Offered for sale is an excellent copy of the 1956 Sturmey Archer Master Catalogue and manual; the pages are quite clean with only a few minor marks. This is an essential manual for Sturmey Archer enthusiasts. With this manual all of the 50s Sturmey hubs can be dismantled and rebuilt - importantly it contains the essential fault finding charts. This Master catalogue contains parts lists, exploded diagrams, assembly and disassembly instructions, gear ratio charts, and axle charts for all the classic Sturmey Archer hubs AW, AG, FG, FW, FM, FC, ASC, AB, AC, AM, TCW, SW as well the Dynohub and brake hubs. 178 pages of absolutely fascinating information and essential for any Sturmey Archer enthusiast. 35 GBP

THE BONESHAKER Super Champion Osgear history & Instructions Offered for sale is an excellent copy of The Boneshaker magazine issue no 152 published by the Veteran-Cycle Club in England. 48 pages. It contains a definitive 23 page history (it also contains and tips and instructions) of Super Champion Osgear gears complete with an identification guide as well as fascinating articles on Frank Shorland, top trackie from the 1890s, early black American track racers and a wonderful reproduction of an 1880 contemporary painting depicting Reigate Hill Climb. 5 GBP

It contains a seven page feature on the history of Derny pacing machines and a nine page feature on the history of the Lucas Microphote lamp as well as an interesting feature on Belgian cycle makers. 3 GBP

KING OF THE ROAD by Andrew Ritchie Perhaps the best bicycle history book Offered for sale is an excellent copy of the King of the Road by Andrew Ritchie and published in 1975. This is a wonderful history of cycling and bicycles despite one or two small errors - it has some really great photos not published elsewhere and is very readable. 192 pages Paperback 14 GBP

CYCLINGS CIRCUS Tour of Britain Milk race Offered for sale is an excellent copy of Chas Messenger\u2019s book Cycling\u2019s Circus published in 1971 detailing the history of the Tour of Britain from 1951 to 1956. 183 pages. Excellent with detailed accounts of the races stage by stage each year. 10 GBP

PENGUIN BOOK OF THE BICYCLE Lovely Offered for sale is a very good copy of the Penguin Book of the Bicycle by Rod Watson and Martin Gray published in 1978 This is a very underrated book which has plenty to offer those interested in cycling. There are fascinating sections on Raleigh (including the teram bikes), Reynolds tubing factory, Dave Moulton and lots of history and sport. 332 pages. 10 GBP

PLAYERS 1939 CYCLING CIGARETTE ALBUM EXC Offered for sale is a very clean copy of the Players Cigarette Card Cycling Album. It has the complete set of cards which details cycling history from von Drais in 1817 right through to 1939 including recumbents from the 1930s. It makes fascinating reading and would be a great Xmas pressie for a cyclist. This set is in excellent condition - no badly stuck in cards but the staples are a little rusty. 15 GBP

RALEIGH JUBILEE CATALOGUE 1937 Gorgeous Offered for sale is a really beautiful Jubilee Raleigh catalogue from 1937. It is in very good condition and covers the complete range from the top notch RRA through to all the roadsters and including the very rare tandem. Much of the printing is in gold. THREE TOUR OF BRITAIN STORIES 1951, 1953 and 1954 These are great accounts of the early days of stage racing in the UK. Each is 52 pages long with some great adverts. 25 GBP

ULTIMATE BICYCLE BOOK by Richard Ballantine Published in 1992 this is a great book with lots of very interesting bikes including quite a lot of Mike Burrows creations! The classic pages features Les Cassell\u2019s Thanet Silverlight, Hetchins 6-day, and a Dursley Pedersen. 192 pages in full colour.
