How did Raleigh kill off some of the many bicycle brands that they acquired in the late 50's and early 60's? Perhaps it was done with a mid-directed ad-campaign such as this one, which would come to mean something new less than 5 years later, "Go Gay with Triumph!"
Or, "THE GAY BIKE FOR JEANAGERS", both part of their 1960 ad campaign!
