Fast impression of the San Diego frame show: I saw a lot of classic-looking restraint. Over-the-top expressionist art frames were in the minority. Simplicity and function were in the majority.
Low-cost ($1000 and under) customs were easily found.
Sterling Peters arranged a ride for this morning which was nicely attended, and a real pleasure. Thanks, Sterling. Since it was a special So-Cal event, I rode my Medici Camino Real, and I was reminded what a truly competent, enjoyable, and prompt frame it is.
By the way, Baylis frames are kind'a like Ford F-150's in San Diego. They're all over the place. Confentes were almost as common today. :-)
