My memory is that CycloPedia was a reliable resource for TA and Stronglight crank pullers - and lots of other esoteric stuff. In the mid-60s, the Stronglight sold for $2.50. Dollars were a lot bigger then, and I didn't have very many of them. harvey sachs mcLean va

As a bit of history, back in the day, around the late sixties and then some, those crank extractors were really tough to find. And in the newly organized Baltimore Bicycling Club, the Peugeot PX-10 was the cool bike to own with the racing club folks I knew into Paramounts, as the local Schwinn dealer was their sponsor. The Stronglight 93 had a reputation for coming loose at the BB, and almost no one had the pullers/tighteners. It was generally known a thin wall 16 mm socket would work to tighten them and a Snap-On was one of the few that would fit, but I ended up getting the real puller from Stuyverson in New York City, the only place I could get one to turn up.
Happy trails,
