Pretty bike!
I was working on this: http://www.flickr.com/
I'm still messy with brass, but good flow and penetration, and pretty short time at temp. I am getting more exuberant with the torch and large flame.
Old SL tubeset. It's interesting: 969 tre tubi, but quite thin wall stays, around .7. I am intrigued by considering the thought process that led some to have not all that thin-wall main (969), with seemingly quite thin stays (.7 or a little less), vs those who were more "symmetrical", i.e. 858 tre tubi and .8 stays, 969 with .9, that sort of thing.
The Kasei quad butted stuff is very interesting, some of it very thin. I must make a frame for my perfect circa 1982 SR groupset with some of their thinner stuff, just to see... And with tubulars, just to experience it. Can one even get them anymore?
