John- Also sorry to hear about your experience with this bike. I've purchased three bikes from e-bay vendors in the past two years. The first one was great and as expected. The second one was not as nice and the packaging was really bad. I've spent a lot of time getting this bike sorted out. It is a 1958 Raleigh Trent Sports which is similar to the Lenton Clubman types but without the finer tubing or details. My last bike, a DL1, was not in as nice a condition as I thought and took more time to clean up and re-assemble than I planned on. It's gotten to the point where we as buyers have to really ask numerous questions and request detailed pics about a bike under consideration before putting down our money. Seems as though some of the e-bay selle'rs view on "good" to "very good" condition is more like our poor to pitifull condition. Let me know how you make out on finding the 26 x 1 1/4" wheels, rims and tires. My Trent Sports uses the same and I'm searching for "good" quality spares.
