I have pretty much the same assessment. These saddles look like model 41, 42, or 43, just with a different stamp. Definitely two different saddles here. Still no clue what "KM" means.

\r?\n> I have posted this information to my PhotoBucket Album. Link
\r?\n> provided in previous post.
\r?\n>
\r?\n> IDEALE 'KM' Saddle variations:
\r?\n> 1) One has the rear Ideale metal badge, the other none.
\r?\n> 2) One has removable rails, the other is fixed.
\r?\n> 3) Saddle profiles are different.
\r?\n> 4) One has cut away nose, the other is slightly rolled
\r?\n> over.
\r?\n> 5) One is embossed '???' on the top rear, the other
\r?\n> is unmarked.
\r?\n>
\r?\n> Both have Ideale branded rivets.

\r?\n> Photos and infomation were provided by Belgian eBay seller:
\r?\n> zairebunia.
\r?\n> He sold these several years ago and does not have a record
\r?\n> of measurements...sorry. They were found in a group of
\r?\n> Ideale saddles including Model 43's. 43's came with
\r?\n> removable rails. The 'KM' with removable rails
\r?\n> mimics the style of the '43' that I own with only
\r?\n> subtle variation.
