"kc rides" the art show is a juried exhibition. Submissions can include artwork in any medium with a bicycle theme or "art bikes" (functional, artist bikes). Spare bike parts and frames are available for inclusion in artwork at acme bicycle company, 412 East 18th Street, Kansas City Missouri, 816 221 2045. Artwork can be delivered to acme bicycle company Tuesday thru Saturday 11a-5p. SUBMISSION DEADLINE is AUGUST 22. Artwork not included in the show can be picked up after August 22nd.

"kc rides" the artshow is a benefit for the Greater Kansas City Bicycle Federation: your local non-profit(501-c3) bicycle advocacy group. The Greater Kansas Ciy Bicycle Federation's mission is to advance bicycling as a viable means of transportation in the greater Kansas City area. All work submitted is done so on a donation basis. All accepted work will be auctioned at the end of the event with proceeds going to benefit the Greater Kansas City Bicycle Federations local bicycle programs, including the free light program, the free bicycles and parts program, repair instruction for low income and homeless of Kansas City, among others.
