Many, if not all, of the Peugeot PSV-10 and PGN-10 frames that came to the USA in the early to mid 1980s used Swiss threaded bottom brackets. Much like your frame, there was no indication that the fixed cups were Swiss threaded.

The real shock came in 1985 (or was it '86?) with my first encounter with one of these frames that used a bottom bracket with British threading. The whole story of Peugeot bottom brackets made life more interesting.
