You ought to try to hunt Sam Cotten and ask him if he has anything... He is in the broader LA area somewhere. Santa Monica IIRC... I talked with him a few (OK maybe 10-12) years ago, seemed like a nice fellow...

Greetings fellow two wheelers:

I am having my SW Cotten repainted and am looking for either transfers, art, decals, pictures (really anything) to further the process. As I have come to appreciate the story, Sam Cotten's original frames were made in the UK under contract with Bill Hurlow. My guess is that the frames were fully painted and decaled before being shipped over. The design is a block script gothic lettering. Much of mine have faded or ben scratched off. The best images I have been able to locate so far are from John Pergolizzi's SW Cotten pictures on Wooljersey. I am not certain who bought that SW Cotten from John, but if they are a list member, some good JPG's of those would probably do the trick. John took some great decal pictures but the vantage is a bit off and although the JPG's reveal 95% of the decal structure, there is some information missing. John?
