Subject: [CR] Tom Simpson's Peugeot

I am trying to put together a period correct Peugeot that would closely
resemble Tom Simpson's Peugeot in 1967. There is a display of his bike at
the Harworth and Bircotes Sports and Social Club. Here's a link to a web
page that shows this display:

I apologize to those that have discussed this before, but there is such a
wealth of knowledge on this list that I'd like to launch a detailed
discussion with anyone that would have an appetite for it.
Have a look at the Universal Cycles Centre website at
http://www.universalcyclecentre.co.uk/tsimpson.htm . The owner, Dave Marsh,
was instrumental in setting up the Harworth exhibition and still has
ambitions for a larger tribute to Tom of some kind. There is a link to Dave
on the site, and he may have more information on Tom's machine. If you need
more photographs of the machine I hope to be in that area next Saturday and
if the club is open would be happy to oblige.
