Subject: [CR] For Sale mid 70s Colnago frame, unknown 1940s Brit frame, 27in Alumlite rims

Hi everyone,

Offered for sale to CR members are a couple of interesting frames, a pair of Bayliss Wiley LF hubs and set of the very rare Alumlite 27in rims..

I can take payment a number of ways - Paypal, cheque in GBP, cash sent registered post, Traveller\u2019s cheques in $, direct bank transfer within the UK or European Iban bank transfer.

Rims cost including a special box 44 GBP to ship to the US. Frames cost 75 GBP. With the pound being low in value these are a real bargain... for US and European buyers. All have pictures you can check out on Photobucket.

COLNAGO 52cm c1974/5 Seat Tube (ctc): 52cm Top Tube (ctc): 53cm Rear dropout width: 124mm Wheel size: Sprints or 700C with 57mm brake drop Seatpost size: 27.2mm Bottom bracket threads: Italian This Colnago is almost certainly a lower tier version produced for the home market - it was sourced from Italy - it does not have the clubs in any of the lugs but the BB shell has the standard Colnago cutout and the forks appear to be standard Colnago for the period. The paint appears original and is in very sound condition - it has the remains of a Columbus decal from the period and the seatpost size would confirm it is built from good quality butted frame tubing. The fork\u2019s steerer is definitely Columbus... 185 GBP ono Pictures can be viewed at: http://www.wooljersey.com/gallery/hilarystone/Colnagoearly70slowtier/

20in ROAD FRAME c1948 Lovely faux 2-plate fork crown. Seat Tube (ctt): 20in Top Tube (ctc): 22in Rear dropout width: 115mm Wheel size: Sprints or 700C with a brake drop of 50mm Seatpost size 27.2mm This is a very pretty small frame from the late 1940s - I do not know what make it is but it is obviously built from good quality double-butted tubing probably Reynolds 531 as it takes a 27.2mm seatpost. Its in very sound condition with no dents. 55 GBP http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r77/hilarystone/20in-unknown-dets.jpg http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r77/hilarystone/20in-unknown.jpg

BAYLISS WILEY LARGE FLANGE DOUBLE FIXED HUBS Track fixie Offered for sale is a very good pair of Bayliss Wiley Continental large flange double fixed track hubs with 32/40H and 115mm OLD - the chrome is starting to go on the front hub centre. 35 GBP http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r77/hilarystone/Bayliss-Wiley-LF-DF.jpg

ALUMLITE 27 x 1 1/4in RIMS 1940s/early 50s Part NOS 32/40H Alumlite aluminium rims are really rather rare and have a very distinctive stepped profile - the front rim has been slightly used whilst the rear is still in its original packaging... Much, much rarer than Constrictors 125 GBP
