Very nice Peter. I'm not at all sure that an Ideale 90 could not have been original on a 1975 PX-10. I seem to recall the PY-10 introduced about this time was usually seen with 2001, but I think it quite possible than many PX-10's were still sold with Ideale 90 or Brooks Pro, as they had been in the early 70's. Nice build in any case.

\r?\n> Dear All,
\r?\n>
\r?\n> I Just finished putting together the first of two Peugeot
\r?\n> PX10's.
\r?\n>
\r?\n> I purchased the frame and a few of the bike's original
\r?\n> bits and pieces on Ebay. As far as I can tell, the paint is
\r?\n> original and so are the decals.
\r?\n>
\r?\n> It was built from parts gleaned from various sources with
\r?\n> care and respect for the original specification.
\r?\n> The finished bike is correct in most aspects apart from the
\r?\n> Ideale model 90 saddle which replaces the original Ideale
\r?\n> 2001 item.
\r?\n>
\r?\n> I am now working on a second PX10, which is of a slightly
\r?\n> later vintage but the same decal layout and type. It is
\r?\n> currently at the paint shop. It will be fitted with
\r?\n> identical parts, thanks to certain members of this mailing
\r?\n> list and to EBay.
\r?\n>
\r?\n> Unlike this slightly earlier PX10, the second bike will be
\r?\n> fitted with later Mafac Competition brakes (with the black
\r?\n> label) and full hoods on the levers. The bike in the photo
\r?\n> has the first type of Mafac Competition brake with the
\r?\n> stamped text on the brake levers and, as you can see, it has
\r?\n> half-hooded levers.
\r?\n>
\r?\n> The stem is the correct version, but it originally had
\r?\n> Philippe labels. I managed to change them for Peugeot labels
\r?\n> after heating the originals with a hairdryer and unpeeling
\r?\n> them. If you try to do this cold, you will not succeed and
\r?\n> very likely scratch the stem!!
\r?\n>
\r?\n> This is the first time I have created a blog, so I hope
\r?\n> that the link works. Here it is:
