I have round forks on:
Two Harry Quinns - one 60's (w/ cantilevers!) and one early 70's road Claud Butler Avant Coureur late 40's or early 50's Viking 60's path Gitane '70's cheap and cheerful track (no surprise there)
might be others...
They really smooth out chipsealed bumpy roads. I wouldn't hesitate to have a KOF road frame built with round fork blades in the specification. In fact, it would be a preference.
